Managing Director / CEO

Tobias Walraven has a long track record as a successful entrepreneur and hands-on corporate business builder in the communication service industry. After founding SNT in 1985, one of the first true CRM outsourcing companies, he doubled the size each year and realized a successful IPO in early 2000. With the buy & build that followed, he managed to develop the company into a leading European player with more than €550M revenues in 2004 as CEO. Since then, through his involvement with several innovative CRM start-ups and his own ventures, he has remained constantly aware of the latest developments in the sector. This allows him to bring together the right skilled people and relevant state of the art businesses to create RIFF.

Chief Financial Officer

Bert can be described as a hands-on, experienced CFO, who operates where Finance, IT and Commerce come together in high pace environments. He was successful in bringing Mendix, the high growth global software company, to the next level of maturity. Prior to this success at Mendix, as CFO of Logica Plc’s, he transformed the company’s $ 1.5B outsourcing business from individual local businesses to a global outsourcing business with operational delivery centers in India, The Philippines, Morocco and Eastern-Europe. Through various finance director functions in large and scale-up companies and service oriented organizations including his Finance Director and CFO roles at Boskalis West-minster and Logica Plc., Bert has built up a strong, international experience in all aspects of finance.

He is an engaged executive leader with a 20+ year track record of accelerating the success of people, teams and organizations within B-2-B and B-2-C (Digital) Service organizations within, Retail, Travel, Sports, Consumer Electronics, Technology and Outsourcing (BPO). An eclectic strategist who sees the ‘big picture’, provides thought leadership, coaching and empowers his team to develop innovative, value-increasing strategies and solutions.

Martijn has been active for over 11 years within the digital marketing business. He is an experienced online marketing professional with a proven track record in digital advertising. For the past 10 years he has been at RIFF, working with corporate and international clients to deliver online success through technology and consultancy. RIFF is one of the fastest growing Premier Google Partners globally. Strengthened by the intensive partnership with Google, it delivers the best results for clients using the latest dynamic advertising solutions. Martijn oversees the global Google partnership. As Managing Director of RIFF APAC, Martijn focuses on expanding RIFF’s well established business in fast growing markets across the APAC region.

Manager RIFF Digital Marketing

Karen Pasman joined RIFF in june 2014 as an allround marketeer. She has worked in online marketing since the first internet bubble burst in 2000 and has a background as an entrepeneur. Her strength is sharing her energy and enthusiasm with her team and motivating them to bring out the best. She believes marketing is a business of stories and how to tell them.

Manager RIFF Digital Engagement

Anne-Mieke Steensma joined RIFF in October 2016. She is a result orientated all round people manager. By working in companies like Samsung, Vodafone, T-Mobile and UPC she has experience in leading high performance teams and is very capable in making the connection with and the inclusion of people. She has a clear commercial approach to improving business processes and successfully increasing efficiency and productivity whilst reducing costs and inefficiencies. Humor is an important factor for her. Anne-Mieke is a strong believer of the motto that Customer Care is an attitude, not a department (Mo Hardy).

Manager RIFF Digital Technology

Paula Heesbeen joined RIFF in June 2011. Starting out as an assistant directly after her studies, Paula made her way to the management team in 2014 and is now business unit manager at RIFF Digital Technology. She has a drive for perfection and a great problem-solving capacity. Her strength lies in optimizing efficiency and costs whilst also motivating and developing people and teams. Her passion for online marketing and e-commerce combined with the drive for strong relationships define her. A very digital women in a very human way.
